Weddings

Congratulations on your impending marriage and thank-you for considering booking
Albert Park/Port Melbourne Baptist Church for your wedding ceremony.

The Church Sanctuary holds approximately 130-140 people.
Hiring the Sanctuary includes the following:

- P.A System
- Scheduled time for rehearsal (to be arranged)
- Use of the Church Sanctuary for Wedding Service
- Use of Baby-Grand Piano
- Ribbons for aisle seating
- Vases for Wedding Flowers

Minister:
(Please note the Minister's fee is separate to the Church Sanctuary hiring fee)

- 4 x 1hr pre-marital counselling sessions
- Attendance to all legal documentation including lodgement of Intention to Marry Form
(to be completed at least 31 days prior to the wedding day) and Registration of your Marriage
- Printing of Marriage Certificate
- Discussion and Planning of Service
- Provision of choice of wording for vows that can be selected in order to create a unique
and individual Christian ceremony
- Co-ordination of Wedding Rehearsal
- Wedding Ceremony

You are also very welcome to come and visit the church at a mutually convenient time.

Sanctuary Albert Park

Facility Hire

Albert Park/Port Melbourne Baptist Church has 1 other building available for hire on either a casual or regular basis - Chapman Hall.

Chapman Hall is located at 80-82 Ross Street, Port Melbourne. Parking is available on Ross and surrounding streets free of charge.

Chapman Hall is a beautiful old Chapel built in 1903. It is divided into 4 main areas -
The Foyer, The Main Hall, The Kitchen and The Hospitality Area.
The Kitchen and Hospitality Areas are accessed via doors at the front of the Main Hall.

The Main Hall & Foyer contain polished wooden floorboards and the raised platform within the Main Hall is carpeted.

The Kitchen is fitted with a Microwave, an Oven, a Grill and a Fridge.
Toilet facilities (1 disabled, 1 female and 1 male) are also available and are accessed via the hospitality area.
No alcohol is allowed to be consumed on the premises.
