ABOUT ALPHA	Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in arelaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a dayor weekend away.
WHO IS ALPHA FOR?	Alpha is for everyone, especially for those wanting toinvestigate Christianity, new Christians, newcomers to the church, or eventhose who want to brush up on the basic.
HOW THE COURSE WORKS	The course is based around small groups ofabout 12 people, hosted by one or two leaders whose role is facilitateand encourage discussion. Eachevening is divided into three components; firstly there is supper – alight meal together at the beginning of each session which gives peoplea chance to get to know each other. The second part of the evening is avideo presented by the Alpha founder Nicky Gumbel, who presents thetopic for the evening. This is followed by a time of discussion, whereeveryone is welcome to contribute their opinion, ask questions anddiscuss with the rest of the group. The emphasis is upon exploration and discovery in a relaxed and informal environment. There is no charge for attending the Alpha course.  We may ask for a small contribution to the food.

Week 6 - How does God guide us? Week 7 - How can I resist evil? Week 8 - Why and how should I tell others? Week 9 - Does God heal today? Week 10 - What about the Church? Day or Weekend Away Who is the Holy Spirit? What does the Holy Spirit do? How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit? How can I make the most of the rest of my life?
